It is a story of Arush, 22 years old, born and raised in the UK, a practical, artistically gifted, hardworking, career-oriented, and shy boy, who visits India as a part of an international program for doing voluntary work and learning new skills, as a part of college credit.

Arush and puja, chalk and cheese characters meet here for the first time, their constant encounters at dinner, work, and over tea, from catching glimpses, and smile to a revelation of feelings slowly turns into love, an unspoken love which both of them felt for each other but never unveiled.

And then series of events ensued where puja got trapped in a misadventure, and they had to part. later on, Arush too gets into the crusade and he had to leave India.

Will Arush and Puja meet again?

Will Puja figure out something for her life?

Will they both understand and respect the true nature of each other’s persona and temperaments?

Read to know Puja and Arush and understand their surroundings.

Main takeaways 💭

This is not my first book by Preeti Shenoy, I have read almost all the books written by her and as always, she has a flair of morphing a simple story into life-changing learning.  considering everyone’s perspective highlighting many issues like the justice system in India, patriarchy, Mental health problems, Education System in India, and Relationships.

🟎There are two types of people, one who is righteous, academic, career-oriented, who have a vision, and who plan everything ahead in time.  Never cease to miss a good opportunity on their way to career or in general in life, that’s the character of Arush. And then some people have an inferiority complex, who remain average in anything they do in life, no plans, no vision for the future, impulsive yet cheerful, oblivion of their talent, that’s the character of puja.✧

✦People like puja learn from their mistakes, sometimes it takes them ages to see light and maybe travel across the ocean to see the true meaning of life and to understand the wisdom, that things happen for a reason.  In the journey, they may see hardships and sometimes they put themselves into trouble by being impulsive and devil may care attitude. But every problem, anxiety, worthlessness, and ups and downs they see is worth it.  In the end, they become an absolute example of courage, wisdom, warrior, and fighter.☆

★People like Arush are always cautious and righteous but when things don’t go as planned, they become shocked and their mind blows off, they take practical decisions but they never listen to their heart, in the process they become more like a machine, taking decisions, their brain is programmed that way due to years to practice. they miss out on the thrills of life.☆

Sometimes to bring discipline in children’s life or showing them the right path towards achieving their goals.  parents put too much pressure on their kids, that the kids feel whether it is their dream or their parent’s. ☆

★No matter who we choose to love, we must always remember that family comes first. if there are misunderstandings, we need to speak out things, rather than running away from the problems. What may come, your family would never abandon you. The vivid description of the heritage and beauty of Kerala is awe-inspiring. I could feel the beauty of and greenery of Kochi and Kerala while I was reading it.☆

A must-read for youngsters and middle-aged!!!

No. I won't write about that'  Alicia Berenson, a thirty–two years old painter renowned for her work Alcestis, a love story of saddest kind. Alcestis willingly sacrifices her life for her husband, Admetus, dying in his place when no one else will.    There is a pure heart to heart connection of Alicia with Alcestis’ story. And hence she named it Alcestis.      “Unexpressed emotions will never die. Falling In Love Again , Book Review

Falling in love again is probably the best thing that can happen to a young writer. It gives a certain spontaneity and intensity to his writing.  Falling in love again is a fusion of short, beautiful, unconventional love stories written by Ruskin bond. Those unconventional stories ring true to each of us, and many can relate to it in their lives.  It will be unfair in part of those who say they never fell in love, for they had been ignorant throughout their lives, they forget that their life had been a long love story. In the journey of life, they fall in love with the sun, the moon, flowers, books, roads, old trees, grannies and they will keep falling in love till their last breath.  The eyes have it  It is a nudge to those who turn blind eyes to the beauty of nature, chirping of a bird, hide and seek of sun and clouds, for they have too much to take in, and people with good eyesight cannot see what is right in front of them.  The subseque...

Five Books That Changed My Life

I had grown up seeing my father reading lots and lots of books and because he would read a lot, I never found him at loss for words.   He was an avid reader and a prolific writer. Not only he would read, but also he had written a good number of articles. He was a great leader; he could influence anybody. Be at the dinner table or at his office conference’s, he would win million hearts.    H e was a man of letters, extremely erudite His presence would daunt normal people. He would always egg us on reading books. As a kid, I would turn deaf ear to his persuasions for reading.  But later on, when I entered college, I found my way to the fiction and self-help section in the college library, though my father had maintained a full-fledged library which comprised almost all the genres, Issuing a book from the library would give me extra motivation owing to the timeline it would come with.  When I set out on the path of reading, I had promised myself to read at least 50...
